Due to popular demands.. kekez... I decided to pen down my past events for the passed few daes...
I will start with my xmas night!... I have always wanted to make our xmas eve a memorable one and I certainly managed to achieve that... though it wasnt easy afterall... kekez... OR should I sae she made my xmas eve a memorable one?

We had our xmas feast at Suntec's Xin Wang restaurant which serves Hong kong's specialties... we had baked rice... fried noodle... gluttonious rice and a BIG tub of Soy bean! I think I had most of the food lo... due to the fact that she is afraid of losing her waist.. kekez...
We exchanged xmas presents and xmas CARD after dinner.... Guess wads my 1st present of this xmas? Its a striped... black shirt... hmmm.. unfortunately the shirt is alittle too small for mi... but still I will keep it well in my wardrobe like a prized possession... kekez...

Programme followed after the dinner was a stroll by the Esplandae Riverside... the rain finally ceased after an entire dae of heavy downpour... that gave us a chance to catch a breathe outside the shopping malls...
Strolled down the pavement and finally found ourselves a seat... Hmmm... was quite disappointed by the lack of atmosphere... perhaps we should have gone to Orchard Road to experience the extraordinanry festive atmosphere.... Next year perhaps...... Right?!

Hmmm.. den we took on a loooooooooooong bus journey to Bukit Batok onboard NR8... that was our first time onboard that bus... not even sure where we might end up at.. kekez... thats wad that made this special occassion more special... Agree?! kekez...
Someone is super selfish... Die die dun wan to tell me secrets.. hai... Anyway... Thanks for making my xmas a quite a memorable one... kekez...

Away from Singapore...

Hmmm.. My last post before I bound for Malaysia... I will be attending Malaysia's National Jamboree tomorrow when I travel to Malaysia after we are done with our activities in Singapore... I will be there as a helper to represent Scouts Association of Singapore to pass over the Rover Peace over to the Malaysian Scouts...
This will be definitely an eye opener for me... my 1st ever Major National event... Hope to gain more exposure and to experience new things...

Lets talk about my experience yesterdae when I went for interview at Obtech... I am glad that after months of "hunting"... finally I found a company to take mi in for internship... all thanks to Michael who is my scout mentor and who is now also my superior...
Coincidentally... the company was having their company's xmas celebration when I paid them a visit yesterdae... After my interview.. they invited mi to stay for their party at night.. initially... I tried to turn them down... as i feel very "alien" in a totally unfamiliar place but after a series of persuasion I obliged as I felt "bu hao yi shi" to have them keep inviting me... (I dun wan to appear tua pai) so I stayed...
The entire night I walked around the place mingling with my new found frens who will also be my colleague in a few month's time... Hmmm.. I found that place very condusive to work at.. and once again a dream of mine fulfiled - to work at a "high class office environment"
BUT... now a problem arised... Dress code in the office must be long sleeve shirt and pants.. where can I find so many sets of them? haha... Its time to do some shopping...

Hmmm... Time really flies... RTT over now... Left with Peace Baton which will be over in a few daes time.. den comes Xmas! ask silly ostrich to help mi think where to go~... kekez..

A new chapter...

Todae marks the end of RTT... After going through a 24 hour long gruelling physical and mental tests, the 6 trainees finally completed the challenges posed to them... Through a series of challenges like cycling... kayaking and endurance tests...

As instructors... we can finally let out a sigh of relief for we dun have to spend consecutive weekends in school anymore! This dae has finally come after 9 weeks of longing and yearning...! Though the 24 hr RTT has ended it also marks the commencement of a new chapter in their rovering career...
Wad awaits the 6 trainees are countless of challenges... it will be by no mean feat to take over the Exco... No matter they are ready or not.. they have no choice but to take up the responsibilities just like wad I went through a year ago... Just hope everyone learns and grows fast enough to survive the cruel reality...

As for me... I will be taking a looooooooooooong break from Rovers... something which I should have done long ago... Can finally fulfil my dream as a hibernating Panda.. kekekez...
Its time for me to find a cosy cave to spend my "winter"..................................................... =)

Hmmm... I am wondering how should I start my blog todae... Woke up early in the morning just to be early for 9am class... den follow by classes and lessons~ slogged slogged slogged...
Look forward to dismissal and it finally came! I think thats wad every students look forward to... but when they hv gone into the society and work.. they will realise actually life is better in school!

That reminded mi of my army daes!!! When I was still serving my time in the army.. wad keeps ringing in my mind is to get ORD soon and return to school asap! My wish came true on the 5th June 2005... Finally get to cast my greens at one side..... But good times dun last... School started to show her true colours... I must admit its not easy to cope with the stress in school... its just as stressful as NS if not worse... But the stress we are talking about are somehow different...
When in NS we are dealing with physical stress but when in school we are coping with mental stress~>.... One thing for sure... both type of stress are undesirable...
Arh? But how can one grow and improve without stress? Sounds so contradicting yah? Its for you yourself to find out whether stress is beneficial... kekez...

After reading these stories... Those who haven tagged... dunno how to tag... dun wished to tag or with wadever reason or another please tag... Sounds so rythmm.. haha...

Rovers... Rovers... Rovers...

Panda's life is getting more and more like a routine... Wake up... go school.. study.. eat... rovers... sleep and everydae seems to be the same.. Sometimes found it quite dull and monotonous!
Unfortunately... Lifes like that no matter where you go................

Rovers 24-hr test also known as RTT will be held this weekend.. right after that I intend to take a loooooooooong break from rovers... My hibernation is going to take place soon...!
While on hibernation.. I have decided to spend my time more wisely! To recuperate and also to spend more time on my studies... and some other things...
Not to worry too much.. I will never allow my results to go down the slope any further...!

Hmmm.. meanwhile I still have to fight war at many fronts.. Overseas Expedition... Rovers Major Event 07... RTT... All this will end in a breeze? hmmm... 2 to 3 weeks time? Lets keep my fingers crossed and hope time really flies!

Memorable 30th Birthdae...

2nd Dec 2006... was Chin Chye also known as Ah Soh's 30th birthdae! The venue was at Bukit Batok CDAN adventure centre... A place which is so ulu that I have never heard of... located at the west of Singapore.. it took me quite some time for mi to travel from my place to there!

Met up with Ah Neo at Bukit Batok MRT before we made our way to Ah soh's place to help him carry the things over... Hmmm.. was surprised to find out that CDAN is actually just right across the road from Ah soh's place... so near... just a stone throw away...
The birthdae celebration kicked off around evening... almost everyone from our class turned up... was expecting J.K to turn up too... was wondering how is he doing.. have not seen him since ages ago...

The feast carried on... wad worth mentioning is the Curry Chicken cooked by ah soh's mom... taste delicious... The dinner lasted till around 10om after which some of the guys suggested to have a game of soccer at the tennis court... Being full.. I tried to decline but obliged in the end....wah... thats a decision which I really regretted.. play play play... I went for a ball in the air and who noes what happened.. I landed on my back...! Bruised... kekez... lucky for me... the injury is not really that serious to have me ended up in the hospital...

The event was further graced by the arrival of a special guest whom I never guess she would turn up... hmmm along with her.. she brought a bottle of wine for ah soh as his present...Hmmm... after which everyone present at the celebration gathered to watch the birthdae "perform"... he has to open up his presents one by one... for every wrong guess he makes.. he will have to settle for a glass of "ribena"... kekekez... What happened to the birthdae boy in the end? haha... without any further explaination... you too would have guessed the ending! He ended up on the bed... drunk and motionless... kekez..What a memorable 30th birthdae right?!

Hmmm.. the rest of the night was a serious of storytelling by the special guest... hmmm.. did not know that she is such a great story teller.. kekez...Should ask her to tell more in the future... =)

MST Results...

Finally... a sigh of relief... To my amazement I managed to pass all!!! After so much burning of midnight oil and constant practising.. I finally... 1st time in my poly daes.. I managed to pass all modules for MST... For someone out there such result is nothing to shout about but for mi... it is definitely a milestone to be remembered! Feel so good to pass all.. I will continue to do the same for the 2 coming semesters!... =)

Tomorrow will be the very dae that I will receive my MST results... Hah! Wondering how will I fare in the series of tests.. Will I be able to scrape through like the previous times or will I be able to excel? I really dunnoe.. but really hope that my hard work pay off... Lets keep my fingers crossed.. kekez...

Other than MST results... tomorrow will be Panda's mama de Birthdae! An advance happy birthdae to mama! kekez.. Which means we will be out for dinner tml! a feast it shall be!

Before I forget... I read an article in the newspaper todae.. would like to post it and serve as a reminder to myself... Heres the equation to Success :
IQ + EQ + FQ + DQ + AQ + dunno wad Q = Success!!!

IQ - As everyone knows... IQ refers to one's intelligence level.. Does it means you cant succeed if u dun possesse an IQ level like Einstein's? The answer is NO... its ok as long you are willing to upgrade constantly and make progress in your studies.. as the chinese saying goes " qing neng bu zhuo"... which means... one's hardwork and determination is able to makeup for one's low IQ level...

EQ - Now.. EQ which stands for Emotional quotient.. one of the most important factors that leads to success... People with high EQ will be able to intereact with people more smoothly thus able to keep friction at work to the minimal...

FQ - It means Financial quotient.. As the saying goes Money make the world goes round.. without money... life will be miserable as there are many things which you can never afford to buy... however money is not everything... FQ is one of the most superficial factors in the list I reckon... but I will never deny the fact that having more money in the wallet is a bad thing.. hahaa...

DQ - Determination quotient... this one is important!... Its hard to achieve a single thing without a strong and determined will... Have you heard of the saying.. Theres a will.. theres a way... Thats very very very true.. I have proved this saying true many times... haha.. because of my poor determination.. many things slipped right under my eyes... see how true it is? hahhaa...

AQ - Adversities quotient... From my personal point of view... this is the most indispensible factor among all...! Its about encountering failure and having the courage to stand up after a fall.. According to the article it stated... Failure is a stepping stone for those who are determined to succeed but a barrier to those who are weak in the mind... s0 when you encounter any problem or failure in the future... take it as a stepping stone... Tough times dun last but tough man do! so if given a choice... would you wan to give in to the tough times? or u wan to be that tough man? hahaha.. Anyway the message that i am trying to send across is that... Dun give up or stop trying just because you encountered a problem... keep on working towards your goal and you will achieve wad u wan...

2nd last dae of MST...

Tomorrow will be the last dae of Mid semester tests. Can finally let out a breath of relief... hope that tomorrow's paper will be a breeze, to my amazement I managed to sit still and spend hourS revising the subject... haha~ hope my effort will not go down the drain...~

Logic Design... the hardest among this sem's modules... Logic design is all about 1 and 0... sound easy yeah?! Wait till you take a closer look at the content... its magic formulaes will make an eighteen year old feel as if hes eighty year-old... haha..

Enough crap...! There will be an activities packed dae waiting for me right after my papers tomorrow... First will head to West Mall Sakae Sushi to see Chin Chye's mysterious Miss Coco.. haha and to celebrate Farhan's 24th Birthdae... after which.. will meet the RSLC for dinner at the Noodle house located at Harbourfront... Hmmm... Will be a strain on my wallet.. ahaha.. but once in a blue moon wont harm right?

Recently... I just "recovered" a long lost fren of mine... know her for a year plus but only till recently before I got a chance to know her better... wierd right? haha... I found it wierd too... and shes even more wierd... I think she will end up participating at Taiwan's Variety show - Fei Chang Nan Nue... just like me... haha.. anyway... thats all for the dae... Will blog again tomorrow...

Time flies...

Time really flies without having mi noticing it, it has been 3 looooong months since I logged and blogged. Hmmmm... Currently busy coping with Mid semester tests in school and rovering, deeply involved in rovering, I should say 80% of my time is spent on rovering and with my rovers frens, really amazed by the time I spent in den (clubhouse). It may seems to be boring and "no life" to somebodies... but for sure it doesnt occurs to me... Rovering to success (sounds as if I am a rovers fanatic but I am not... Haha)

Really looking forward to the 3 weeks vacation in Mid december... Cant wait for them to arrive! Hmmm.. Going to have lots of activities during those daes.. APR Peace Baton... Overseas Expedition to Mount Ophir and Xmas party! These are the confirmed ones.. there are more unstated here... For more activities can always give mi a call!

Anyway.. I have to end here... need to spend some time on revision before I go to bed..
Btw I am back on ACTIVE mode to post entries.. hahah... Hope to see you all more often.. Meanwhile take care!... =)

The Lake house...

Watched Lake house with two of my frens yesterdae... those who were at the theatre with us were mostly couples... so awkward... 3 guys watched it together... hahaa.... I wanted to wacth Frostbite initially but all are midnight slots... wad a letdown... Lake is a movie starred by Sandra Bullock and Keeanu Reeves... You wan to know more about the plot? Hmmmm.. ok... I will share some with you here...
The background of the story is set at this house by the lake... Sandra came to contact with keeanu who lives in a dimension.. 2 years earlier than her through a mail... Got to communicate with each other and got together eventually... Happily ever after...
p.s : We have to be realistic in our life... Not every story have a happy ending... its up to you to create your own happy ending...

Simple yet complex...

4th dae at work... Times have changed... The Simple life (my workplace) have changed lots lots lots since I left 4 months plus ago... Uncle Will is no longer around... Ah wang.. Yasmin and Bernard are no longer around too... but got to see some familiar faces who are still working there... Mich... Andy... Fiona.. June... but I know things can never be the same again... Now have to get used to the life under the new manager...

After daes working with her... found that shes quite ok... have some shortcomings but also have some good points to comment on... the good thing about her is that she has a very good temper which "someone" can never match... I am not going mention who "someone" is... cause he/she might be reading this.. whaha.. Hmmmm...

Have a very packed schedule on the coming week... as I need to earn my pay to fund for my Thailand trip at the end of September...
To talk about my Thailand trip... it will be on the 21st to 24th Sep... return one dae before school reopens... haha... I think it will be fun... Now my life is all about work... work and work... so sick and tired of it... Experience many flashbacks when I 1st returned to simple life... how I waited for her after work... how I slogged during work and how I explained myself when I was late for work...
Those were the times... It will never be the same again... Lost it and wad left was the fond memories from the past...

After 2 weeks long of intensive reivison and books mugging... I.. finally... be able to declare myself FREE from all books and past year papers... Hope I dun get to see them... Never ever again... The deciding moment will be on the 13th of September...

Hmmm... Many things happened during the past one month.. Decided on some things... but some are still unsolved... I dunno whether wad I did was right... but I know I must learn not to regret on things which I have done... During this low period... discovered I have a bunch of good frens with mi... kekez... Thanks for spending time with mi and thanks for revising the different subjects with me... without you people... I can forget about passing the papers... I really appreciate... Thanks...

Should I or should I not?

Hmmmm... People might think its something glamorous to be in the Rovers Training Team... that kind of image that it has been potraying over the years... so wad if you are an instructor?... that does not make your life any easier... Its all about commitment and passion... Have been questioning myself why am I doing all these... should I withdraw from the team?

I have this question for all Scout leaders... (Sorry.. I am really a problem child)
Do you know what scouting is really about? Arent you afraid that wad you are doing now might be the wrong way... you might be leading your troop in the wrong direction...
Scouting is not all about Backwoodsman method... its not all about badgework and skill nor it is all about community services and services to others...
I think we should attain a balance between the two...

Whenever I plan programmes.. ask people to turn up for activities... I am worried that wad I have in store for them... might not be the path that leads to right way of scouting... I read books... but mostly are very abstract... Its very vague... It doesnt says scouting is A... you must achieve it through using method A... you have to experience it yourself!

Different people have their own interpretation of scouting... My definition of scouting? To have fun through outdoor adventures and service to the others... I dunno whether my interpretation is correct but I will make sure... my crew and I do not drift too much to become an adventure club...

Packed dae...

Made up my mind to turn up for soccer tournament... representing a team which consist 5 classmates... did not harbour high expectation of this team.. BUT one thing for sure... I know we are going to put in our best and strive for the best result...! Wah... todae was really not our dae... soon after I reached the school... the sky started to turn GREY... raindrops started to drop from the sky and soon after... it was raining cats and dogs................ Just my luck!

I gave up the chance to go kayaking and turned up to play soccer... who knows~~~ The match was postponed... We made good use of our stay in school to play badminton while waiting for the rain to cease... Badminton session... it was great! was marinated with sweat... Got aches all over my body... the price for playing too hard.. haha... Headed home after the play...

Hmmm.. Took a nap before I woke and changed for clubbing at Double O! It have been ages since I went clubbing... hmmm.. when huh~... it have been a year plus since I visited that place.. it was Shuyu's birthdae.. took the chance to celebrate his 22nd birthdae! Wanted to treat him drink de... though I am not a good drinker myself... but he declined.. haiya... wasted.. kekez...
Was with Jeffrey... Jo... Desmond and my classmate Flynn~... finally got a chance to catch up with them.. Time really flies... Tried something which I never did when I go clubbing~ haha.. I made a fool of myself at the dance pool~>.. I dunno how to dance! but I still did... I think I was a little tipsy that time... hmmmm... it must be the alcohol!

After which... I met Joe and the rest at Merlion... spent the night there... talked... dunno why there is so much to talk about... just not my usual self... the usually quiet me was a different person that very night... talk talk talk... feel much better after letting out... haha... Hmmm..
The rest sae they will be going clubbing again next week... BUT I sae... Lets concentrate on my exams revision 1st! Will join u all 3 weeks later...!

Dae 19...

19 more daes to the most dread... Semestral exams! I will be having 4 papers this semester... On the 14th. 16th. 18th. 21st. August... one dae break in between the papers... they are just around the corner...! Drawing nearer and nearer... did not do well for my MST.. hope to make up this time... I have started my revision but on a VERY slow pace... hope my effort pay off...~

Hmmm.. it has been almost 2 months since that very dae... hmmm.. I think this time... nothing will work for us... wad should be done.. had been done...
wad should be expressed... had been said...
Opportunity does not comes by easily... if you do not cherish it... den do not regret when you have lost it... Since frens are that important... spend more time with them den...

Conclusion: Cherish wad we have and dun take things for granted...

I think its time for me to meet my sec. frens for gathering too... I dun wan to drift further and further away from them... hmmM! This saturdae will be packed! Dunno which should come 1st...

Hmmm time flies... good time never lasts... tml will be another in school... slog for a week den get a chance to recharge again... sigh~ I must survive!...

24th July is someone's 21st birthdae... hereby wish her happy birthdae... Must learn how to use brain le... cannot fa da xiao jie pi qi le... kekez... anyway... all the best to her... may she stay as young as ever... Happy Bdae to her x3... lalala~...

No one was at home with me todae... I took the opportunity to cook meal for myself... I attempted to fry eggs and bacon for myself... unlucky for mi... my plan flopped miserably... Cooked 2 eggs... one was broken before it has even enter the fry pan.. wahaha... need to practise more... as for the bacon.. not so bad... in a whole... I managed to fill my tummy and got the growling shut up~ hmmm... and that is good enough... One clap for myself... haha~...

Tons of tutorials and revision notes await me on my table... but my engine just refused to start... Exams are just around the corner... I am already feeling the pressure... yet I am still unable to keep myself by the table and finish all tutorials... utterly disappointed with myself...

Saturdae programme:
Heard from Wenjie that Nicholas is back... will most probably meet up with them for a good chat after I am done with my revision... Going to focus on my revisions tomorrow... I just cannot afford to fail any module this semester... Sometimes we need to know our priority... I cannot allow myself to waste anymore time....... sigh~

With Nicholas back for holidae and Shuyu back from camp... I think we will have a major gathering tml night... Oh yeah...~ Exciting programmes await...
Sometimes... the situation i am in now is just like someone who lost his way at a cross road... So many paths... but which is the correct one which will eventually leads me to my final destination...? I am at a loss............................~

Hmmm.. was chatting with Ah pui a moment ago... talked about blogging... mentioning that after adding her link on my site.. she cant talk behind my back anymore... haha.. she said she will still carry on... so I must beat her by talking bad about her 1st... I think I won! haha...

A VERY special event took place in the den todae... something which have not happened for a long long long....... time actually happened todae! In order to protect the interest of the victim... I shall not mention names here... kekez... But before I carry on with the story.. I must make it clear that I was not the one who instigated this "mission"... kekez...

Lets name the victim A... A was sleeping in the den todae... despite warnings from us... he still carried on zzzzzzzz... In the end... the few of us finally had enough... We jumped on him and stripped him off his pants... heh heh heh*... and took pictures...

Wad a memorable dae...! hmmm.. however I would like to comment on this A... He was really maganimous... he did not struggle hard as he knew that the more he struggles the more painful he will get... on the contrary he allowed us to take "advantage" of the situation... heh heh heh*

To end the story off... I would advise those sleepy heads not to sleep in den... or else the same thing might happen on you......... heh heh heh* I wonder wad would we do if the sleepy bug is a girl... Heh heh heh* Feel free to try............................................. :)

Return of the Hibernating Panda...

My 1st post since dunno when... Time flies... it have been ages since I expressed my feelings through such a channel... Dun ask me why I took up blogging again... I dunno too!... Feel theres a need for me to find a platform to shoout it all out! A place for me to voice out my feelings... A place for me to pen down yesterdae's memory...

Joined my classmates to play basketball and soccer after school... Had a great time sweating it out... Was terrific... didnt know I still can last through out the 4 hours of play... But the effect has started to take its toll after I reached home... Feel aches all over my body... Hah! I cannot help but to admit that time has catched up with me...

I would like to take this opportunity to comment on last week's Poly 50... Great job Rovers... We did not manage to claim the Wee Kim Wee Challenge Shield but I am just as proud of you... To come in 8th place among 100 over teams is by no mean feat...! You all really deserve a pat on the shoulder... Continue to work hard and play hard!!! NEVER give up.....................!
